Replacement of the info database with filters

  | informative products without an order function? In addition to the product shop, an information database has been maintained for certain customer groups for many years. The main purpose of this database was to continue listing products that are no longer on the market. From these "information articles" you could easily access the listed and guaranteed suitable accessories. This was useful if you e.g. want to reorder toner for an older printer, or want to upgrade a PC or notebook's memory after some time of use, or order a replacement power supply unit.
We will replace this information database with intelligently used product filters in which you can select by model designation of the basic device. For example, if you are looking for toner in the consumables and you can see a large overall portfolio there, apply the filter by clicking on your printer manufacturer and its model name. All inks or toners that do not match the device are immediately hidden.
Filters complement each other Let's stay with the toners you just selected for your printer. If you also combine this with the "Toner version" filters, you can determine that exactly only e.g. a specific color is shown. You have thus reduced the overall selection to just the one product that was relevant for you when ordering.
Filters are better than search functions A search for text is probably faster than selections, but it is only successful if the content you want is contained in one of the product texts. If it isn't, or if it's only slightly different from what you entered, you won't get a satisfactory result. If you have instead gone to the desired product group and found a product filter that lists your product exactly, suitable accessories are guaranteed to be listed.
